Hi, my name is Sudhir Kumar, and I am a digital marketing expert based in Janakpuri, New Delhi. I have been working as an SEO freelancer since 2015. Traveling is my way of taking a break from the chaos of everyday life, and this time, I decided to plan a relaxing trip from Delhi to Rishikesh with a group of my close friends, including Amardeep, Ankit, Anil, Sohan Lal, Sushant, Amit, Sandeep, and Atul. We have heard a lot about the Urbaia Tempo Traveller, so we decided to book it for our trip. Rather than taking many cars or going through the trouble of using public transport, we decided to travel together in an Urbania. To be honest, it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for a trip.
Planning
The Trip
The plan
was quite simple—a short road trip with good company, nice weather, and a
relaxing break near the holy River Ganges. Since we are a group of 10, comfort
was of utmost priority. First, we searched for the other budget options.
Finally, we decided to take an Urbania
on rent in Delhi, as it was quite suitable for group travel.
The
booking was quite smooth, and everything was communicated properly, including
timings and pickup points. This provided us with a sense of reliability even
before we started our journey.
First
Impressions of the Urbania
The
vehicle was right on time, early in the morning, and the first impression was
also quite impressive. It was premium compared to the conventional travelers
that we have used over the years. The interior was clean, spacious, and
well-designed. The seats were also quite wide, comfortable, and offered enough
legroom for everyone.
However,
the very first thing that caught our attention was the overall ambiance, which
was not like any conventional group vehicle. It was more like a luxury van
meant for a comfortable journey.
Starting
the Journey
We
started early in the day so that we could avoid city traffic, and once we moved
out of Delhi, the excitement was building up. The experience was smooth, and
everyone could get comfortable in the vehicle. Some were listening to music,
some were talking, and some were just relaxing and enjoying the journey.
Unlike
our previous journeys, where a long journey could be tiring, this journey was
quite effortless. The suspension was also very good, and even on bad roads, the
overall comfort was maintained.
On
the Way: Comfort and Convenience
One of
the biggest advantages of traveling together in a single vehicle was the
bonding experience. We got to share our experiences and laugh endlessly. We
even took a few unplanned halts for tea and snacks on the highway.
The
spacious interiors of the vehicle ensured our comfortable movement without
feeling congested. We had ample space for our luggage, too, which is always a
problem while traveling in groups. The air conditioner was functioning
perfectly, too. It was set to a comfortable temperature during our trip.
The
driver was very experienced and knew the road very well. This added to our
sense of safety, too.
Scenic
Drive Towards Rishikesh
As we
continued our journey towards Rishikesh, our surroundings changed. We left the
city roads and entered the highways. Finally, we entered the beautiful green
surroundings. This immediately lifted our mood.
The
experience of moving along with the Ganges was a bonus. We slowed down a bit to
enjoy the sight and take a few photographs too.
Arrival
in Rishikesh
We
arrived in Rishikesh feeling fresh and full of energy. This is not common when
one undertakes a road trip. Most road trips leave one feeling drained and
fatigued. However, in this case, things were different.
We
checked into our stay and then immediately went out to explore. From visiting
Laxman Jhula to attending Ganga Aarti in the evenings, every experience was
enjoyable simply because we did not feel drained from our trip.
Exploring
Together
The fact
that we had our vehicle with us was an added advantage. Whether we were to
visit various cafes, explore various locations, or go for adventure activities
like rafting on the river, we were able to do so without any hassles of
coordination.
This was
a huge factor in ensuring that our trip was enjoyable.
The
Return Journey
The
return trip was just as comfortable. By this time, everyone had their favorite
seats, the playlist was ready, and the mood was even more relaxed. Some were
sleeping, while others continued their conversations from where they had
stopped the previous day. Others were savoring the moments of solitude.
It wasn't a return journey; it was more like an extension of the trip.
Why I
Would Choose This Again
If I
look back, choosing a Tempo
Traveller in Delhi, especially Urbania, was the highlight of our whole
traveling experience. It was a great combination of comfort, space, and
convenience, making it a wonderful experience for us.
Traveling
in a group can sometimes come with its own set of challenges, but this time
around, everything was so smooth. From the journey to the destination and back,
it was all so relaxing.
Final
Thoughts
If you
are planning a group outing from Delhi to Rishikesh or any other nearby place,
then this option should definitely be considered. It is not just about reaching
the destination; it is also about making the most out of every moment of the
journey.
This was
not just a journey to a place; it was a journey of making memories together,
having a lot of fun, and experiencing the joy of traveling. And, to be honest,
the comfort of the ride was one of the major factors.
This was
a journey that taught me that it is not just the destination but the way you
travel as well.
